I just realized that killing a dispenser and killing a sentry gun are worth the same points... that seems wrong.

can you base points on the level of the SG? If so then I'd say 15 for l3, 10 for l2, and 5 for l1. If not then 10 for any sentry. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

No, because you can get the same points even if it isn't fully built yet. Nothing is broken here. Maybe a point or two more for the SG than the dispenser, but... that's like ... IT.

Hmm. That ain't right. Do you lose the same number of points you gain for building it in the first place? I think you get something like 2 points for building a dispenser. Do you lose say 3 points for taking it down? If that's the case, there's really no incentive to move something once it's built. You're better off waiting for the other team to take it out and just hanging with the shotty in hand. I wish people would stop messing with the game once I get too good for their tastes with one class or weapon. In the HL2DM days I got really good with the SMG nade. Massive amounts of fun with that. People bitched about it and it was nerfed several times until it was useless. At that time Mikezero had a cool class-based HL2DM mod on the HAX server that had a suicide bomber class. Nobody and I mean NOBODY could get inside our 2fort base beyond the main level. I had shitloads of fun. People bitched about it and it was nerfed, then eliminated as a class. On the old Tomb, I could take anyone out by cooking a nade. When that was nerfed I would go on suicide missions. It was frickin' hysterical to drop a nade, and cook it with the grav gun at close quarters. The enemy would pull out his grav gun and try desperately to anticipate my launching the nade at him to launch it back. So you could see his grav gun pulsing like mad to catch it. Only I would walk right up to him and blow us all up. Sometimes I couldn't play for a good 30 seconds or so because I would laugh so hard afterwards. Same with guy or multiple guys I just blew up. Good times. Good times. I got so good at it that if I managed to get really close, i could get him between me and the nade, blowing him up and but I would not die.
