So Mario Kart Wii was recently announced. Anyone could have guessed that this game has been in development for some time now. I grew up on Mario Kart 64, and the SNES version as well. But with the gamecube version (Mario Kart: Double Dash), I started to lose faith. The characters had annoyingly high pitched voices. The races were too easy to win. I had to hear luigi crying because he fell of the back of my kart. Is this game going to return the epic win to the gaming community, or fail as much as I do when playing Pyro?

Double Dash is a skidmark on the otherwise perfectly legitimate panties known as Mario Kart. Speculating based on screenshots, we seem to have graduated from panties to string bikinis. The kart "doubles" are gone, which is a heavy and sharp exhale of pleasure after the last installment. It's time the series got back to what it does best. The intense comebacks and rewarding sound effects (AAAA-wo-wo-wo-wo-wo-wo) of yor will return. If we, the gamers, are denied these fresh and attractive undies, then there will be blood. I think this one says it couldn't find any open games to play in? Yeah I really don't think you guys need to worry about this game. I'm dying for it already. silverwasp wrote:Be careful what you wish for... I have 10 younger siblings and I am only 20....

The new stages look great, and I've also seen that they will be bringing back some of the classic ones as well. Are there any new items / modes announced? I played all of them extensively. They are easily in the top 5 favorite game series of all time. I hated double dash in the beginning. Now it's my favorite of all of them (including the GBA and DS versions). I know a lot of people didn't play it enough to get used to it, and therefore hated it.

You have to admit that Double Dash was a pretty good idea, I don't see why everybody here hated it. I had fun anyways... Quote:Razor: As hard as one might try no one will ever be able to pull one over on Super Penguin. Backpack of Win
