Actually this season is a lot more interesting because of the future-set flashes that they have. Before it's been about "who are these people on the island?" Now, it's more about "what the hell happens to these people we got to know on the island?" This is thankfully a season that ties a lot of shit together so far. {pDs} Lead Salad: bike why did you change your name Jessica343: so I can get heals {pDs} Lead Salad: oh damn good idea {pDs} Lead Salad has changed their name to {pDs} Lead Salad (is a girl) Jessica343: hahah

Did you get into the whole internet part of it a few seasons back? Anyways, I love the flashbacks and flashforwards. It is a very interesting way to creating mystery and anticipation. I also love that they wrote it with the intent of ending in 6 or 7 total seasons. I hate the shows that try to milk it forever and make crap filler episodes. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Actually, according to an interview with the guy who played Jack,,, it was originally written to be a lot shorter... They had to figure out how to extend it. That's how season two came about and sucked some serious asshole.

it was only meant to be a miniseries of 6 initially (or something small like that). that's the show's real weakness, it hasn't a notion of where it's going. i tried watching this series, and while i wouldn't say it's bad or anything, personally i just feel... what's the point? yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.

Yeah. Between the commercials and lack of real development in the show, I'm pretty content just waiting for a dvd release... or something similar.

it's pretty much the same problem with everything in the world of TV. every series is milked for all it's worth, and it ends up imploding arse ways on itself. i started watching Heroes recently enough, and while the first series was decent entertainment, the second just had no coherent direction at all... and some really bad Irish accents. I actually don't watch TV any more. yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.
