Bill O'Reilly sucks indeed. However, he is right about this. Law enforcement kept arresting that guy and letting him go because the crimes weren't severe enough, even though he is an illegal alien. He should have been deported, since obviously he is no good. Yet they let him go until he kills (and I think rapes) someone. I see this happen all the time in our country anymore. Another girl was killed by an illegal alien just the other day. Then they finally caught the illegal alien that killed Emily Sander in Mexico. "Immigrants are criminals!" The call to the battlements of American nativists since this country was born. If you look at our history, all new immigrant groups have been attacked with this claim (Irish, Italians, Eastern Europeans, etc. etc.) What O'Reilly should really be complaining about is our broken criminal justice system that allows some to remain free until they kill and keeps others locked up for life for possessing small amounts of drugs. You'll find a small number of criminals in every ethnic group in America -- the vast majority are honest, hard-working people that came to this great country for freedom and a chance at a better life than they had in their country of origin. I worked in a kitchen years ago and we would get a new undocumented mexican worker at least once a week. One thing I noticed is that they all busted their ass working. I have no problem with immigrants. I despise illegal immigrants. I have too many friends that have gone through the system, busted their asses and became citizens. Shows a bit of character that illegals choose to not respect our laws, but expect a job, education, healthcare, etc... How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

If you lived in Bumfuck, Mexico without drinkable water in the pipes, with raw sewage running in the streets, and with no hope for change because the local government including the police were indistinguishable from organized crime, what would you do? Every "illegal" I have ever met embodied what makes America great far more than any whitebread spoiled suburbanite I've known.
