New TV, can't get proper PC>TV aspect ratio? Options

So I bought a 32" Samsung lCD TV tonight and I have it connected to my comp. Problem is that I can't get the TV to maintain the proper aspect ratio. TV=little wider than my widescreen PC. I tried fucking around with the settings to little/no avail. What gives?

The TV will have a widescreen option, usually on the remote somewhere or in the options in the setup.

Also, in Windows under control panel, display, appearance, you can dictate what aspect ratio you want.

If that doesn't work, they should have an 800 number in the manual of the TV, ftw.
You should be more like Cantrip.
