I have TiVo with lifetime subscription, something you can't get anymore. As a result, I don't watch live TV anymore. But over the weekend I made a failed attempt to stalk Whut to Portland. Hotels don't have TiVo, so I usually watch live TV only in hotels, when I'm away from home stalking Whut.
I'm a flipper. If I don't have TiVo I flip through all the channels available maybe five or six times before I settle on a show, if I've seen all the porn on pay-per-view.
Over the weekend I settled on Cops on a channel I had never heard of: TruTV. Then some insane show called Most Insane Videos came on. Then Most Daring Videos. Then Forensic Files, Then Hella Funny Videos, or something like that. I said to myself, "I gots to get this channel from my cable company when I get home from stalking Whut."
It turns out that I already have TruTV and just didn't know it. Y
ou see TruTV was formerly known as CourtTV. I have just watched an hour of Bait Car, where the California Highway Patrol sets up GPS tracking systems and remote control shut-offs in bait cars, then leave the cars in areas of known car thefts. It's like sports fishing meets Cops.
I can't stop watching this channel. One show after another grabs my attention. I have discovered that I love this shit.
