so i get to hl2dm and it loads all the way.  "sending client info 100%" then for a split second i see the welcome screen and it goes back to the main menu.  wtf?

Hit your console after that to see if can see "sorry kickied to allow an admin to join" because I get that all the time when I can clearly see like four empty slots.  My only option is to jump on when there's few people and tough it out to get to the maps i like.

Or maybe Steam sucks.

that was probably it, cuz i just tried to do it again and it worked...there were 24 ppl as opposed to 31 ppl on.  anyway i had to quit cuz my fps drops ridiculously at random times and it becomes impossible to play.  oh well.
