I've never heard of a 24 hour eviction notice, I would check the laws in your state to see if you really can be evicted in that time frame. Assuming you are a renter, in many states its a long involved process to evict someone, even for non-payment. You can't just say "clear out in 24 hours", at least not in any state I've heard of, probably you can pull that kind of shit in the south or in Texas.
Do you have a lawyer? If not it sounds like you could use one.

Don't worry about us or being active here, we're not going anywhere. Good luck.

Sorry man, any advice I give you on this kind of stuff would just be stupid. You don't need to keep up a hella active profile around here. Besides, we need to catch up with your heap of points on HlStats

Good luck sorting all of this out.

Depends on the reason for the 24 hour notice.  For all we know, he has had 3 months of extensions.

DP, no idea what to tell ya.  Keep focused on what is important, REALLY important, and work to make that happen.  Having an active profile on here would be the last thing on my mind if I was worried about having custody of my child.

yea thats my main worry is the effect this will have on the judges decission for custody, the whole reason the 24 hour eviction can and did happen was because i never officially got put on the lease, it is my own stupid fault for not getting that locked in and for trusting a drunk to deal with normal everyday decisions on a normal level... /sigh well lesson learned on my end, now to just lock in a place b4 my court review is the next step... but here in santa cruz that takes alot of cash, lets just hope i have built up enough good karma so that somthin will fall in my lap, thats all i can hope for

Dude, I feel for you.  I raised four kids for 15 years after my divorce from my first wife.  They lived with me 50% and with her 50%.  There wasn't much time for video games getting them off to school, feeding them, working full time, doing homework with them, etc., etc.  I had to put the kids needs ahead of everything else, but it was worth it.  Now they're grown up and I have time to play TF2.  First things First.  Your kids will grow up faster than you realize and this is the only chance you'll have to be an active Father in their lives.  By the time they are off on their own, gaming will be some new virtual reality experience and you'll laugh at TF2.  We only get one chance to be with them when they're growing up.  Do whatever it takes to be a part of their lives now.
