I'm not in charge 0_o, I tested it out with another 5-6 guys and Chris, and he sends e-mails off to Valve to try and get them fixed. I just made a post and forwarded it to Chris so that he can get a good idea on what major bugs need to be fixed etc :)
Basically there's not many people being active in the beta, so I'm trying to be as active as I can bug-fixing wise so this game doesn't get even worse after the patch. They've fixed nearly every concern of mine except 3-4 bugs/exploits, and I hope they get those fixes in before they release the patch.
Overbouncing is legal as here's one of Chris' posts
"I have sent valve multiple demos and they have determined that there is nothing that exceeds the engine's expectations in any of the demos I've given them."
So it's legal, and there's plenty of arguing about it over on the fiosgrand forums if you would like to join in ;)
If you wish to participate in the beta here's some instructions:

Edit: The server went down about 20 minutes ago, it'll be back up tomorrow I believe. :)

in my opinion, overbouncing is probably one of the major things that should be fixed in the game. i have a feeling that if it doesn't get fixed, its because the testers do it and want to keep it. its the #1 exploited thing in the game.

oh - I sort of do that automatically, combined with a little strafing too. It's just the way I play FPS - I think I've done it ever since qtest days before Quake1 came out. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

I kinda mash my keyboard and accomplish what DC'sMH does with the strafe thing. I try to keep up with Sexy, but I always end up miles behind.
