I was under the impression that the lag issue was resolved. I guess I was wrong. What is broken with the tempest servers so I can fix this shit?

For me personally, it hasnt been too bad recently however whenever everyone clusters together we get hit with big time lag. I dont think anything can really be done it may just be the age of your dedicated box. But again its not to bad and is exponentially better than it was a few weeks back. I'm the leetest one here

My on and off stay on the servers has shown no lag for me. I may just end up missing the bad times though. silverwasp wrote:Be careful what you wish for... I have 10 younger siblings and I am only 20....

Get a refund. Find someone else to host. It's only been since the move, so it must be them. Somehow. If you support John McCain and/or George W. Bush, please click here.“I would like to say to Milton and Anna: Regarding the Great Depression. You're right, we did it. We're very sorry. But thanks to you, we won't do it again.” - Ben Bernanke

I would put money on the fact that they are hosted on "lesser" machines, not the ISP or location. How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

The only time i still see lag is when the servers are full and some video intensive pyro-sentry action is going down. Otherwise fine. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning. Smells like ... victory"

What's still broken? I don't know, but the servers are dead. I've been (kind of) monitoring server attendance today via wdfnews.com mainsite (yeah, it's working again, thanks to whoever fixed whatever was fixed.) and the most I've seen on a server all night (since like 4) was 10. 10. 10 is downright sad. silverwasp wrote:Be careful what you wish for... I propose we take both Well's and Hydro out of the rotation. I've got to second this. We do see some very good traffic until these come on. well CP can sometimes hold the line but Hydro and Well CTF are just murder right now. Somewhat concerned about #3 as well. It's flat-line quite a bit. And always showing 2Fort??
