So I was thinking how much I learned from watching other people's demos. You can seriously steal 'moves' from really good players.
With that said, I personally would be interested in having some of our pro players post footage of themselves playing. Who else would be interested? With enough support, I think we can pressure these players to letting out some of their secrets. Maybe I can also edit footage and put it into a playable movie if enough people are interested.
------ Sure Gunslinger has pics of himself all oiled up and dominating everyone else. I'm sure he faps to this everynight. But I think what makes Gunslinger an insane heavy is his survive-ability rate, and knowing when to 'pull back'. He also very good at communicating with (read: enslaving) his medic and knowing when to best hit an ubercharge. I'm probably most impressed by his tendency to spend more time walking around and picking the best ambush spots than actually firing. ------ This is not to alienate other players but just a tool for everyone to use. We're all here to learn, right?

heres some tips instead without medic a heavy is generally useless unless its one on one with other players , or if theres lots of health packs around, otherwise he is just a big slow moving target always keep your barrel spinning, hold down the right mouse button to make your barrel spin, you'll move a lot slower but you wont have to wait for your gun to rev up if a heavy has a medic, he must do everything in his power to protect him, so long as he has his medic he can soak up bullets and rockets no problem, keep your medic close and take shots for him, it helps his charge build faster, communication is also key for a heavy medic combo, watch his back, and he'll watch yours pyros are always a pain for heavy med combos, if you're in close quarters try to body block any pyros from reaching your medic when you finally get an ubercharge, dont just burn it right away unless you or your medic are about to die, otherwise try to get as close as you can into a close quarters position in a heavy vs heavy fight, the winner is usually the one who can fire first, always try to get the drop on an enemy heavy if an enemy heavy has a medic and you're solo, dont try to fight him unless you can get around from behind if you know theres an enemy around the corner jump out and get your barrel revving while your mid-air so that way your arent slinking around the corner and he'll be right in your sights ready to be mowed down In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. In an age of Insanity look to the madman to lead the way.

true,true...I'm trying to branch out...try new things...I'm sorta getting better at soldier, I got some medic practice recently too, but when it's really necessary to kick ass, I switch to that fat Russian bastard and rev up good ol' Sasha HAHA stupid horse, the sign says Deer crossing Cantrip wrote:For all you know, you may have been dessert on a day-long cock-feast.

As a defensive player having had to deal with heavy/medic combos... I have to say that, even with decent coordination, I find a pyro/medic combo much more of a threat. Heavies tend to be so busy trying to chew up a "populated area" that it's very easy to get in behind them, de-medic them, and leave them vulnerable. In my book mobility is everything. It's the key to dodging enemies, circling them, ambushing successfully, and falling back in strategic withdraws. I've even seen uber'd heavies fail to take out a single SG if its engineer is proficient and repairing it. Granted, they're the only class that doesn't receive major kick-back from an SG, but if the SG is really your target, just bring a demo along. But more often than not, as a soldier, I look forward to a heavy/medic combo coming in. Easy kills if you ambush them before they reach their destination. And even if they uber and you die, you die knowing the exhausted their uber earlier than planned, giving your team an advantage. The real threat? Other support players protecting the medic while the heavy chews shit up.

Playing a Heavy is like riding on the small school bus. If you have to ride, you think you are so very special!
But to everyone on the outside...you are just a big fucking retard.
LoL.
(Disclaimer: This is a joke (kindof). I appreciate each and every one of you fat-asses. but i still think you are retards. so it might not actually be a joke. Wait. Yes it is a joke.) Quote:

I find I die more as heavy than any other class. When playing against them I dont even bat an eye when I run across them when I'm playng soldier. As long as you have a corner to work thier ass with you can easily pop in and out and 3 to 4 rockets he's seeing the you've been killed by screen.
Now here is how I die to heavies.
1. A good heavy will not spin/open fire until someone has commited themselves around the corner and have insuffcient time to retreat around said corner. Gunslinger and other good heavies will jump and start spinning mid air while going around corners to decrease soldier/demo corner firing.
2. Close range in open field heavy rules. Just to do as much damage to him before you perish maybe his next victim might finish him off.
3. As support platforms not doing the killing blows but laying the finishing rounds 10 to 15 point shots at range.
4. Control point holder where I have no choice but to attempt to endgage them on thier terms.
Really TF2 is just knowing each classes strength and weakness and attempting to put yourself in situations where you can exploit them the your best advantage.
