Anyone affected by the earthquake this morning? My sisters in St. Louis said that they had stuff rattle off their shelves, but no harm to them. Our dogs woke up this morning and got in my face, but they felt it and tried to tell me. In my sleepy haze, and being used to artillary fire from the nearby army post, I didn't think anything of it until I heard the news this morning.

I felt it here in SE Michigan.  Woke me up.  I thought it was my son trying to shake my bed to wake me up, but no kid!  Just went back to sleep and figured it out when I heard the AM news.  We get little ones like that about once a year.

San Diego CA here..of course didnt feel yours but we have our fair share out west here.

The craziest earthquake I remember was when i was about 16...I was sleeping on the couch and the door starting shaking so much i thought my sister was trying get in the door after a night of parting. I got up when to the door opened it no one there. Layed back down and turned on the news. Where the news lady was getting out from undereneth her table. It was a very long earthquake say like 10 to 20 seconds.

All the others I have felt are either over before they start or I have slept through.

Growing up in San Francisco, I've had my share of earthquakes. The biggest one I remember is the '89 quake.
