GOD I love the new look of the forums. Anyways, I have WoW installed on my comp. No account, though, friend's CDs. I need an account. That's not the topic though. I just wanted peoples general opinions of WoW. Regarding Difficulty, playability, interactivity, etc. Anything i guess. I've never really seen it in action... silverwasp wrote:Be careful what you wish for... I have 10 younger siblings and I am only 20....

too many eve goonies around here to get much of a wow disucition going.
however, i do love the crap out of it. best mmorpg of its kind IMO (and no, im not putting it above eve, eve is a totaly differnt kinda game) Formally known as MrT The film "Brokeback Mountain" was originally pitched as an off-beat romance starring MrT and WhutDuFuk. The sole reason the two legends declined the starring roles is because if MrT and WhutDuFuk were to kiss, there would be new meaning to the word homosexual...it would mean "obligation".

Well I played WoW since day one of release. I played in both the public beta and the stress test, I was in love at first sight. When the game finally came out I was addicted for about a year when I started realizing it wasnt very fun anymore. My account is set to expire in 6 day, and it wont be renewed unless the Expansion does something to blow my mind away. (With the release of Drenei as the new alliance race this isnt looking too bright). The first grind to 60 was fun, the first Rag kill, the first Nef kill, all pretty exciting. The second time I did it, it was fun, didnt have the same feel, but was exciting nonetheless. For some reason I have yet to determine, I think it may have been Blizz's mind control tactics, I went on to level 3 more characters to 60, and have since wtfpwnd everything there is to own (minus C'thun and the Twin Emps). I think I might stay away from MMO's for awhile though, too time consuming for what you get out of it. They always give me this idea of me needing to play, because if I dont, everyone gets leet gear, and I dont, thus making me play more. To sum it up, good for awhile, lost its jive after a year and Blizz fucking up world PVP. Anyone else's thoughts? PS What server are you guys on? PPS This is shinobi in disguise. From the eve-online Players Guide: One could compare this to the difference between a playground, such as EVE, and a theme park, which would be the traditional MMOG. In a playground you have access to different kinds of toys and rides, and you are allowed to use your own imagination to figure out how to create games you enjoy. In a theme park all the rides have been created for you and are either good or bad by design. So much is said there... "Try to claim my fame....that's fatal...." -The RZA

Having been off my WoW addiction for a while, I can pretty easily say that I'll never play it again. It was fun at first, but once you hit the higher levels, there's nothing really left to do but grind for legendary gear or hang out and PvP the everloving snot out of the game. I've yet to try Eve, only because the space-flight category doesn't really interest me. I still wish they'd make an MMO with 'Die by the Sword' combat interactivity.

stay away from WoW unless you want to become an addict to it. It's not worth playing if you don't play constantly (even then it's frustrating to not be higher than your current level), and it's not fun to be a slave to it.
