I've been running hax0red wrt54g's for a few years now, they are teh awesome. My current one has the signal boosted about 20% or so :) Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

I overclocked its main chip a bit too. The trick is to not push things too far. On mine if I boost it too much the signal quality turns to shit. I have mine boosted enough to get good signal in about 200 to 400 feet in every direction (its lower where the pipes run cuz they suck signal). you can do all kinds of slick stuff with the wrt54g and its cousins using the hacked firmwares. allow me to restate my first question. What are the best settings to run at w/ tomato on a linksys WRT54GS w/o over clocking? I.E. Afterburner AP Isolation Beacon Interval Multicast Rate Transmission Rate Fragmentation Threshold all that shit. King of Jeans I wanna be like Buddylee 007 for life

I run ddwrt micro. Its decent. No way to graph network usage and no way to see if my neighbors are stealing and no way to Boot my roommate off cuz he won't turn off his fucking torrents with 30+ seeds and no reliable way to throttle him either.
