I currently run an EVGA 8800GTS 320mb. I do not have any problems running any of today's games. Would I see much of a performance boost if a bought another and ran dual cards? The price has dropped (to like half of what I paid 5 months ago) and I was thinking that this might help me for the future games. Thoughts? Comments?

yeah pretty much the only use for an SLI setup is if you have an enormous monitor (like 24"+) or other super-high resolution setups. If youre looking for just more raw power, just upgrade the card. but the 8800 series is jsut badass to begin with, so you might want to look into otehr areas (like CPU or RAM) to upgrade. *edit* yay 100 posts :P Bah Weep Granah Weep Ninny Bong

I have a 8800 gt super clocked edtion and i can run everything on high but cant get to very high on crysis i think i might have to get a 2nd one to do it. Adding another one for sli would not hurt you any at all. WDF?: I found a hot girl WDF?: Who lets me WDF?: Drink WDF?: Smoke WDF?: And play video games WDF?: ALL DAY shignog: and in the back door? Not worth it at all. SLI scales like crap, 1.5x at most below 2560x1600. Save the money, wait a little and get one of ATI's 48xx series cards or wait for the 9900GT from Nvidia which will be based on a 55nm G92 core called G92b.

It was more of a passing kind of thing. I really don't want to have to deal with the extra heat issues.

Id stay clear of the ati cards anymore. And sli is worth it if you have a good computer you will a pretty good boost off of it. I know a few people who are running sli and they love it. If you got some extra money burning a whole in your pockets id say go for it, or if your computer needs some upgrades you would also get a boost out of that as well, unless its is already fast now.
