I recently finished it and I have to say, the most immersive shit I've ever experienced. Makes movies like 'The Kingdom' and stuff seem...un-immersive. Seriously what did you guys think? Man the game is so well designed it really instills a sense of brotherhood with my robotic NPCs made of 0s and 1s. But I'm sure a real-life marine will tell me to 'stfu noob'.

It's crazy. Those of you who haven't played it I recommend you go and play it now!

Haven't played it but if its anything like Captain Price and MacGregor from CoD2 it must be good.

Strange, there is a Captain Price you follow in the game, but it's modern SAS troop. I don't recall him in CoD2, but here he's responsible for the coolest video-game ending ever.

My favourite level was when you follow this Captain and you guys are in camo suits and you travel across Chrenobyl to snipe this target. Very suspenseful and James-Bond.

Yeah they reused him I guess as a nod to CoD2, (I actually played the first two missions of the campaign on my friend's xbox)

He has the same voice actor too, I think, as well as almost the same goofy moustache. Yahtzee mentioned him in his review of cod4 IIRC.

But yeah he's also pretty badass in CoD2 as well. In one of the missions you ride with him and MacGregor (the scottish comic relief) in an armoured car and battle your way out of a town in Tunisia. Antics ensue.

yes, the whole chernobyl scenes/missions were very intense and cinematic, almost breathtaking. I wish i had a better video card to put it on high detail, that would be really nice.

I'm stuck in the storage area of the fucking missile bunker (near or at end, i assume). A lot of the weapon animations reminded me of Battlefield 2.

The level where you bomb shit from above wins. Hard.

Yeah that one's a little intense, especially trying to C4 the tanks while everyone's shooting at you.

The ending is worth it though. James-bond baby.

I have a buddy that can not do the AC130 gunship mission because he was in one during one of the latest Desert conflicts.
