Valve released a broken patch. 50% of servers are crashing with or without mods as soon as people join. Our servers are still updating but I've gone ahead and enabled sv_fear 1 and sv_rage 3

Valve has released two more updates this evening. Neither of them fixed the issue. There are only 500 servers running right now, mostly linux or empty. The empty ones haven't crashed because of being empty. The third update caused all three tf2 servers to go balls out insane and suck all of the cpu and ram for the box, and I am now locked out. I called the datacenter to have them manually reboot the machine.

Leaving to go to the datacenter now. Can't shut the servers off in time before they kill the entire box. All of our client websites are down now. Way too much fucking effort for a fucking video game.
