Good point Razor.. maybe they should be.. cause if they're not, there will be those who will frag the heck out of the Noobs to try to bump stats up.... and that sure won't make it fun for the new folks....

Actually I was being a bit more self centered than that. If a noob kills you no problem, 1 point. You kill him, no problem 1 point. But if you are in a class you are not use to and Joe Semi regular kills you then you just lost 50 points.

Yeah I'm with Razor. I'd rather not sacrifice what I've achieved if at all possible. Also, with stats enabled, all the noobs will be getting that "You need 1000 kills!" thing which might be discouraging. It can be discouraging to even career players. Come to think of it. It might be fun to periodically have "no stat" days where xstats is disabled. I'd like to play sniper a bit more- or even spy- but don't want my stats butchered in the process.

ADMINS: remember to keep a look out for anti-noob players who are only playing to terrorize/putdown/grief the new players. and remember to refer anyone to this site if they ask or comment on how they like our servers. Although I know it means something is wrong and it causes Whut a hassle, I like it when stats are down for a bit. Before anyone says it I know I focus on the points too much.

Meh, our stats are our "lowest-common-denominator" means of giving ourselves an identify on the servers. Sure, those of us who play a lot know each other so identities aren't tied to stats so much, but for the new-comer who hasn't played with me but sees my stats in the ranking... the better they are, the more I feel I'll be respected. Or feared. Whichever. And yes, I do take pride in being in the top 100 and having the highest K:D ratio in the clan. So sue me. Folks around here made it damn tough to achieve.

As I said in my 2nd post, you kill them you get 1 point. They kill you, they get 1 point. I have no problem with that. What I have a problem with is dumbing down what little skill I have and getting killed by someone that is a semi regular and losing points. Disable stats, don't disable stats. Your call. I was giving my opinion of what would make me, and probably a lot of the others, comfortable.

Is there an easy to access place to find a list of Admins so it won't take long to find someone to remove an.... um.. fuckwad.. when encountered? having been in a position in the not too distant past of trying to find an admin to remove someone using hacks and it taking quite some time, it can get frustrating and the Nubs might not hang around if they're being harassed. I know there are often admins playing but don't yet know who they all are.. I'll learn!! Thanks!!
