So I was bored the other day, and decided that I felt like hopping off of walls. So I downloaded hl2ctf 1.7 found a server with people (there's seriously only like, 2) and started playing. Now I don't know what happened during that playtest that made everybody reject this game, but it is even better then before. I spent like 10 hours playing last night, and the competition is good, the movement is good, there's more weapon selection, and it's a hell of alot prettier. I like this version too! The only thing with the playtest for me was the speed wasn't different compared from running to walking. But I really enjoyed playing. CTF server for us?

Only in my wildest dreamzors. I'm pretty sure that if we had a CTF server we'd have to get rid of the scrambler, and I LOVE dods. Technically four... but I host 5. So... to put it basic... I'm pushing it. The CPU usage load would overwhelm the server machine and cause the other servers to choke. However, this would only happen on a full server. Currently when the scrambler and tomb are both full, we're using about 50% of total server machine resources. So, if the musket massacre and gungame server were also full, we'd be at 100%, and that doesn't even count valiss's server.

So what would the likely hood of the CTF server have? because it seems that we already have 5 good servers that i dont think anyone ones to get rid of one of them but i could be wrongMakeSureItsCharcoalGrilled wrote: "Craps Alert"

I'd much rather have a DOD:S server then a CTF server (unless we say fuck you to hl2mp if they don't hammer out the crazies) cause we have the tomb, that's hl2mp with ctf maps.
