I have to be honest, Battlestar really isn't that appealing to me. I saw season 1, but there wasn't all that much action. Lots of drama, but I like my sci-fi violent and somewhat gratuitous.

Battles are often epic.

The secret to BSG is to watch as much of it as you can in sequence and without commercials. Don't forget the miniseries too. Anyone who says there isn't enough action or violence hasn't watched it enough. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

Cheney makes a valid point. I tried watching season 1 weekly and failed. I hated it. I came back to it because I kept hearing about how good it was. I was like "maybe I was just too high the first time around." I grabbed the first season and watched it straight through. Now I'm straight up addicted. What's better? My girlfriend is as obsessed with it as I am.
