For the space nerds in us check out this program. http://worldwidetelescope.org/ shows you all over the skies above your head, its pretty nifty if you don't have a telescope... BUT if you do have one you can use a laptop and hook it up if your able to and have your telescope track just about anything you want at the simple push of a button. Have fun!

I love astronomy and physics.

I always wanted to know the answer to these question though..or at least have a disscussion about it.

1 What effects would solar forces (thermal, magnetic, gravitational) have on convection in a binary star system?

2 Would the side currently facing its sister star have an accelerated cycle due to the gravitatioal pull?

3 Would the side opposite experience the opposite effect due to the pull?

4 Would the solar winds of a larger star act like a bellows and blow the corona of a smaller sister star back and away creating an un-isulated side of the smaller star where thermal energy would surface quicker than the "dark side"? or would the larger star stiffle the emition of radiation?

5 In a binary system with very large masses would the  gravitational effect cause the sides facing each other to have greater density? and if this is so would each star wobble due to the displacement of there individual masses?

6 The corona of our sun is hotter than the surface. Is it possible for a smaller faster spinning star to have a magnetic field that allows it to pull particles from a larger companion with a slower spin and actually appear brighter/hotter than its larger sister?

Yes I have trouble sleeping at night because my mind dosent shut up.

That depends on the stars' masses, but in all binary systems you have one star that is considerably larger than the other. Eventually, the smaller star will be lopsided, and further along, indeed before the larger star passes the chandrasekhar limit, the smaller star will be sort of pear-shaped, as its mass is transferred into the larger star. I can try to answer your other questions later but I've only just completed AP Phyisics (though reading about physics and astronomy is a hobby of mine).

1When will the XGP 15A-II be released to the public?

Another astronomy & physics junkie here. Thanks for the link. Used to have a 10" reflector but I sold it a few years back.
Eventually I plan on getting another with a tracking unit and getting into ccd imaging.
When I was a teenager I spent away many nights in my backyard wrapped in a blanket in front of my telescope hugging a bottle of vodka. Sigh...sure miss those good'ol days.

Ill try it in Firefox on Ubuntu, I guess Loading is the Final Frontier for Windows.

I wouldn't say that Lazors were "Invented"

No, but Zeus introduced them to the world when he chucked his first "lightning bolt" down to the Greeks.
