Not as simple as it sounds at all, Need some help on this, I have tried too follow this Tutorial to the last detail, But I get "Your computer's startup program cannot gain access to the disk..." or  "Disk Error". I have booted Ubuntu 8.04 from it, so I know it is capable of booting an Operating System.

Does your mobo allow for booting from a USB device?  The answer to that question is important.
You should be more like Cantrip.

I'm not going to bother looking at the tutorial.
Just temporarily disable your hard drives and install windows as you normally would except on the jump drive.

Yeah, Thats what I did, I Psyically Disconnected all other Hard Drives, And tried installing Windows, But I either get "Your computer's startup program cannot gain access to the disk..." before it starts to copy the files, or sometimes it does copy the files sucessfully but then says "Disk Error" when it Reboots.

As I can boot Ubuntu from my USB HDD successfully and now I found out that I can run Steam Games in Ubuntu, I am not going to bother trying to Install Windows on my USB HDD, I am only going to get too many problems.

Well...for the record it sounds like a windows/bios conflict. Possibly the INT-13 Extensions or other settings need to be enabled in the bios.

Sounds like you do not have the mass storage drivers so windows does not know how to use it.

He said that windows copied the files. This means the install had started therefore windows must have recognized the drive and was using it to store the installation files.

Yes, the installation environment saw the drive, but once it is on, the OS may not have the drivers to run it.

The installation files are copied to the drive unless you use a switch to force them into ram. To do that the OS must have already had a driver to access the drive. The OS needs a driver to do anything with a drive including a format.
From my experience if it's as simple as needing a driver windows will simply prompt you for the driver.
He never received that prompt so that also tells me that windows initially recognized the drive.
