Yes, well, sorry about that. Rumors of my death being greatly exaggerated (and of my detention at Gitmo being entirely wrong), I was just posting to let everyone know I'm back from my long hiatus, studying abroad in Tokyo incidentally. It was a lot of fun, but my laptop sadly wasn't up to handling TF2 and everything else there kept me pretty busy.
I can't promise I'll be playing for like 8+ hours a day as I was prior to my departure (work, school, GTA4 still call), but whether intentional or through a lack of oversight, I'm still apparently an admin and happy to be back playing on Tempest. It's good to see Giller (a far stabler guy than me overall ;-) has made admin as well, as well as to see so many familiar faces from the one evening I've played so far.
I guess my point is, I wouldn't give two thoughts to a silly multiplayer community for a cartoony shooter game if not for the people who frequent it and the outstanding folks who run it. Compared with Giller's 8-month start-to-admin, the higher-ups took a chance making me an admin so quickly, and it wasn't until I was cut off from the crew that I realized I had inadvertently stumbled into something a bit special and, if I do my job right, gotten the opportunity to make it a better gaming community for everyone.
So, assuming this post doesn't remind WDF or Splinter "Whoops, we had been meaning to cull him from the ranks," I'm back again, and looking forward to killing each and every one of you. >:D

Fear not, however, I hope to be on the climb once again. But unless I'm much mistaken it seems some hefty changes were made to the point system in my absence (that or the number of regulars has consolidated itself mightily (which doesn't seem to be the case)). Either way, I have a feeling other obligations are going to prevent me from worrying about the whole thing too obsessively at this point, and seeing as it seemed to cause more trouble than not, it's probably for the best ("At last!" Welcome back...I've already seen you since you've been back so...kinda redundant...hehe
Yea yea, I got the PC reformated and spyware clean now....TF2 installed and updated as of last night. No more random audio waves being played from the net while I'm playing games. I had one the other day that literally went on for 5 min about some random ass dietary suppliment...pissed me off as there wasn't a way to stop it. Quit out of my game and began the reformat right then!
*edit* Looked at our [GwDR] stats....and I must say Ciao, you need to work on your KPD ratio. That is NOT the [GwDR] standard there!
