I did read over the rules. The rules state: Utilize These Forums! It doesn't say how much you should Utilize them... First of all this forum, does not have the ability to subscribe to threads as far as I can tell. I own and operate my own business, and between that and trying to play tf2, I don't have time to check on a message board to see if threads I am active in have been replied to.... Furthermore, for about 4 years I owned and developed code for a message board that got in excess of 400 posts a day on average. I've quite had my fill of message boards overall. They are cool, but they are also time consuming... And when you get right down to brass tacks, I'd rather spend my leisure time playing a game, than talking about it or posting on any given message board... If I were admitted to pDs I would certainly check the clan forums regularly and comment/suggest things as appropriate. However, I simply do not have the time to actively participate as a general member of a general discussion message board. If my inability to devote time to having generalized discussion with people on the main pDs forums disqualifies me from membership in pDs, then that would certainly be unfortunate. I do understand the importance of a message board when it comes to communicating with clan members, and as I have stated, I can assure you that I would be active in the clan forums as appropriate if admitted to pDs... I just do not have the time to invest in being active in the generalized forums that WDFNews.com provides... Yargh

Welcome, it's been fun having you play on the servers. It's good to have someone as enthusiastic as you playing. The whole forum thing is to let the people in {pDs} who don't play TF2 get to know you. It's not like you'll have to be a forum slave forever, just for a couple weeks to introduce yourself to the clan. "I love the smell of napalm in the morning. Smells like ... victory"

New site will have an updated forum. This is essentially one of the earliest betas of YAF that has been heavily modified to fit our needs. We'll be using the latest version when we launch the next site. I'll make sure thread subscription is possible. No one's forcing you to do anything, mind you. It's simply advised that you utilize these forums occasionally. Most of the pDs community frequents this place and this is where they'll really get to know you (as well as in the servers, obviously). Sometimes we have people who rarely play and don't post. They get voted down.

Well I play alot, and will make sure I stay current on clan forums :-D But I understand why you'd look at it as part of the whole 'deal' w You need people who play somewhat regularly, and who can participate in forums, because it is important... Communication is the key to success after all :-D Yargh
