So the hubby and I lived through an F4 tornado last night - passed about 1/2 mile from our house. The miracle is - we still have power. So crawdad is currently fragging on the Tempests. Lucky us. I am glad you guys are ok. I know how scary it must have been. On April 8, 1998 a F5 went about 500 yards past my folks house. They only lost a Bradford Pear tree but it killed a lot of people. It destroyed a church above my house. The whole area looked like a war zone. Again I am glad ya'll are alright.

Good to hear the Crawdaddys surviving. Glad you folks are okay and hope it stays that way! How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

The sunrise tomorrow should be more spectacular, your food should taste better, colors will be more vibrant, your sex will be even hotter -er, wait. You're married, you don't have sex anymore. nvm. You should be more like Cantrip. Twitchy: "I pulled a Cantrip . . ." GivePeaceAChance: "If the Tempest had nipples, I'd pinch that shit." Xylicon: "I'm about to deliver my [Richard] in your face for posting that stupid shit. " WDF?: "He keeps reaming me... night after night... I'm rather sore." GivePeaceAChance: "OMG MY NIPS ARE HARD" llenta: "cantrip, you fail!!!" Filliam H. Muffman: "i'm on top of dick"

I'm SO glad you guys are OK!! I used to live in KS (tornado alley) and survived an F3 while in an anchored mobile home... it was really scary.. We could hear debris sipping past the doors and stuff hitting the walls.. had the TV turned up all the way and couldn't hear anything except the roaring wind....
and Cantrip.. you're right, everything is kind of different after you live thru a night when you are positive you're gonna die...
Again Mrs. Crawdad.. glad you guys are still with us!

I live in OK. Oklahoma and Kansas have the bestest radars in the nation though....pretty much know when a tornado-potential is coming for ya 30 minutes before hand here now adays. Everyone here in OK pretty much is an amateur radar meteorologist since you grow up with it happening damn near every day from april through august. Quote:

I guess I shouldn't have been so flippant in my subject line. One of my students at Sylvan was killed by the tornado that went through Chapman. She was 20 years old.
Keeping theological discussions out of it - please remember her family. Belligerent Pimp wrote: The Man Society just suspended my man card for a week for getting rickrolled by Mrs. Mary Midwestern Housewife.

Well we HAD been trying to listen to the weather and see if we were in the warning zone.. it was raining really hard, and then at some point the sound changed from rain and hail to wind.. so THAT'S why we had the TV turned up... LOL..
