Tell us what you play? how long you've been playing it, and maybe why you picked it? I play the piano somewhat. I teach myself mostly. I can fake piano after lessons as a child - can't sight read though, that is play what's on a sheet of music without some effort, lots of effort. Guitar 19 years (my bedroom wall looks like guitar center with the amount of them hanging on the wall)
Each one of them has a particular story, voice and use.
1 Imitation acoustic electric Ovation I bought at a Music shop in the United Arab Emirates after a unfortunate smashing of the classical I had with me.
1 Dean 12 string acoustic electric cutaway. A full sound to it that goes well with singing or as the rhythm guitar.
1 Horner (a brand know more thier harmonicas) basic 6 string acoustic, my first guitar given to me by my uncle.
1 Fender Nylon string classical great for ...well classical. Very soft round sound to it.
1 American Fender Strat nice guitar plugs into the fender tube amp and sings.
1 "beater" Guitar in need of restoration. Non-playable atm.
Drums 3 years-ish (owned them for 8 but play time has been off and on due to living in apartments)
1 Blue Yamaha 5 piece set with Zildjian cymbols but I replaced the single bass pedal with a pearl double bass pedal.
I have taken a piano class but didnt enjoy it.
I do have a full key electric piano also. Not to upset the pianists here but I use it more as a metronome than a piano.
1 auto-harp ..kinda fun to mess with.

I've played piano since I was 6 or 7. Stopped taking lessons when I was 16. My memorized repertoire has since shrunk to the first few bars of the right hand of "As Time Goes By" and a jazz rendition of Fur Elise. Safety + Peace

I play drums. Well, I did play drums, but I sold my set a little while ago because drums don't work in apartments. They were fun while they lasted.
