Actually if you slow down the very end you can see that the outer edge of the roof just caught the driver door. I dont think the truck was smashed. Dumbass Driver FTW. One time when waiting in line to drop my boat in the water, I watched a guy dropping a 40' Donzi in the water hop out of his truck. Oh, and I forgot to mention, it was a really, really nice truck. Chevy 2500 with a lift, stereo, custom paint, chrome, the works. You could tell it was worth probably as much as the Donzi. But back to the story. Pretty boring so far, right? That would be because I left out the part about when he hopped out, you could tell midair by the look on his face that he was thinking "Damn... parking break, THEN exit vehicle. FUUUUUUUUUUCK!" The truck went in the water faster than shit down a greased shit slide. Plus, the water was moving pretty fucking fast because they had just opened the dams a few days prior. Were talking a good 20-30 knot flow. Now, for those of you that aren't boaters, before you back your boat into the water, you release the rear clamps on the trailer, leaving just the front. When the truck and boat hit that current, not only did the truck sink but it was carried downriver by the floating boat/truck destroyer that was his boat. Wow. If only I had the foresight to have had the video camera handy.

I say dead. If you slow down the video, at the point where it appears to crush the cab, you can see the bottom of the cab buckle under the weight of the roof to the point it almost touches the concrete before the vid cuts out. According to Miller he was circling the bank to park on the other side when the corner of his travel trailer caught the corner of the bank awning. Next thing he heard was a rumble as the awning started falling against his driver's side door. Somehow he was able to unbuckle the seat beat and exit the other side of his truck as it was falling.

He got out? Fucker had to be fast. Watching this over, the awning seems to break with relative ease. I'd think there'd be some badass steel girders or something to support it. I guess that's not always the case. Safety + Peace
