Newegg shipped the procs but refuses to ship the rest of the parts to the address supplied due to the fact that it's not the same address as the card that was used to pay for it. Of course, this is after the money has gone through AND there was a three way call clearing the funds for the order between Sirus, the bank, and Newegg. Irritation levels are high

but what's the color code of the irritation level? I really don't know how to respond unless I'm aware that it's a magenta or possible *gasp* an orange!
Oh, and this sucks, but I don't think any of us can really whine too much about. Well, we will, but not with any dignity or respect. Ok, so we didn't have that to begin with so i'm just going to go drink by myself in the corner...

Funds being in the bank do not change what New Egg is obligated and required to do when they get an order with a different shipping address than the billing address of the card. The proper procedure is to call the credit card company before placing any orders of this type and list the other address as an alternate shipping address. Problem solved. Yargh

I wasn't giving advice per se, I was responding to DickCheney's post wherein he alluded to the fact that it was a mixup on Newegg's part, and that they should take steps to remedy the situation, and further Ciao Time's post where he said you should ask for shipping reimbursements. I was merely highlighting the fact, that the issue has nothing to do with Newegg, and that they were simply following the rules and guidelines given to them and outlined in the PCI standards which govern various Credit Card Transactions.
