I'd like to apply for admin over our tempest servers. On top of keeping a level head and a low tolerance for inappropriate behavior, I believe I have something going for me that other applicants might not.

My sleep pattern.

As you can see, I'm writing this at about 5:20 AM, PST. Not an hour ago, I got a message from a pDs member requesting admin. Numerous others have also asked if I had admin priveleges, requesting my help. Alas, I was unable to help them, and searched for another admin to forward the request to. Sometimes I can find one, sometimes I can't.

I am routinely ( usually ) awake during this time. My usual bedtime is anywhere from 3:30AM to 6:30AM.

I am very active on the servers, logging at least a few hours a day in-game and launching server fills independent of any steam-group events.

I hereby recant anything that may have been said in my signature in the past regarding my ability to carry out the duties assigned to a server admin.

Thank you for your consideration!

Ok...I think we're all in agreement that TripBam fulfills half of the requirements that are found here

Here's the second half...

His admin app. at the top of this thread, I believe, is solid by what he has in the top line of his post.  Now, one of my esteemed colleagues noted something along the lines that lack of admins at X time shouldn't be the main grounds for needing more admins.  To further add to 3Bam's case he wants admin...

that is a noble cause, and it's not just because he's awake at 4:30 a.m. PT (although I feel it doesn't necessarily hurt)

...therefore, I hereby vouch for TripleBam's desire to be a Server Admin.

Can we open his vote up again?  whaddayasay?

I double vouch for triplebam. He's a pretty mellow fellow, I believe he would make an excellent addition to the admin team.

Main grounds, no. But it sure means something to those who play during those hours. I'm starting to feel like hours of availability aren't only being seen as a secondary factor... but not being seen as a factor at all. As a late-night player I'm starting to feel disenfranchised. Triple's good people. I'd say he deserves it for that, and doubly so for his hours of availability.

I'm more or less with you...i guess that's what I was trying to say...I just feel that maintaining the integrity of the servers is essentially a 24/7 job, and of secondary importance is what part of that 24 can/may be covered

Yeah McCheese is handly this, and seems to have slacked. Send him hate (a picture of a Whopper should do the trick) in a PM and tell him to get on it!

Dragon - Before giving 3Bam access, you DID remember  to remove all the threads we had about him where we laughed at him, made fun of him and called him names, right?
