Just kidding.  Time to help camelspit make a life changing decision.

I'm going to sell my car because i am so tired of driving it.  Initially was going to sell it to buy a motorcycle.  But alas, the missus says no.  So any suggestions you guys have (i dont know if many of you are car fans..)

Rules: No front wheel drive cars, no hondas, no fords.  must be rwd or awd, go.

A Vee-Dub?

Actually, I don't know your budget, and even if I did, I'm no follower of car trends or models.  That's for the young people of the world since you think I'm soooo old.

One thing you should consider is insurance payments.  My co-worker sold his car and wants to purchase a Vee-Dub, what kind I don't know.  I don't think it's even new, but his insurance company told him it would be like five times as much as he was paying for his old car.  So think about that.

You should be more like Cantrip.

i'm getting a motorcycle when i graduate, it will be a graduataion present to myself.

as for your car, what kind of car are you looking for.  a budget does narrow it down since you only got ~$4,000 but there are still a lot of different choices or ways to go here.

If you want a muscle car there a few good ones to choose from like:

Dodge Chager (i think is one of the best muscle cars ever)

Dodge Challenger

Chevell

Pontiac GTO

Hemi Cuda (rare and will cost alot)

Dodge Dart (not too bad of a car but has potential)

old corvett (hard to get cheap unless its a peace of shit)

Firebird

Transam

there are way more but i forgot the names but thoughs i have listed are good cars if its in decent shape

but if you want more of a fule effeciant car with good traction go with a Suby they are built really good for how they are.

Even though the GTO as you say was the ORIGINAL doesnt mean its the best. The Dodge charger in its time was afordable with power, infact it did beat out alot of other muscle cars. It also was a much sexier and meaner looking then the GTO.

but thats what i think, and your right a chevell SS is a hot car.

Did you know that when the mustang came out the market was for female secretaries. Then ended up being a hit musscle car when people found out its potential.

yes, i did know that about mustangs.  they're still secretary cars....at least the v6 ones.  and i honestly think the judge is the meanest looking of the bunch.  and i think the 62 GTO with the Tri Power option is the sexiest looking muscle car.  The 69 Boss is just a work of art.  The 454...well...i could say great things about every muscle car, those are all just my favorites.

I have never really been a big fan of the GTO only because i have the beauty of a Charger stuck in my minde. The 69 Boss is a very nice car, but soo is the hemi cuda which i think is a monster by all means. Seeing is how a Cude is hard to come by and if you want something with good stock power and ALOT of rooms to make some good add ons ( i know almost all musscle cars have room for good add ons but) going with the charger........

For one you get a very sexy looking car if you choose the years between 69-73

Second there is soo much you can do to make that car even sexier

Three it is by far the best muscle car ever!

but there is one thing i have noticed when it comes to talked about muscle cars with people, is that everyone has there own taste in muscle cars because each car (this is why i love them) really has their own personality. Most people i found jsut find a car that fits their personality the most. With that said you should with no question go with a Charger lol.

None of your muscle car shite... for cheap thrills an AWD rally car is best. Depending on how old a car you want, if you are prepared to go way back look around for one of the original audi quattro's, or one of the earlier Evo's (back from when they could actually compete in WRC).
yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.
