I feel this forum needs more discussion about sound technology in addition to music. Post pics, specs, and whatever else you feel is relevant to achieving your music bliss.

Most of the time I'm wearing my Sennheiser HD555's.

Most comfortable and most impressive cans I have ever owned, though I've only recently ever considered dropping an amount of dollars in the triple digits on a pair of headphones. Still, these babies were enough to make me re-download all of my albums in FLAC, and they're great for being able to hear the footsteps of cloaked spies. One of these days I'll save up enough for a pair of Sennheiser HD650's and a amp to go with them, but I hesitate lest I might die of happiness.

I also have a Logitech X-530 set, but I nearly stopped using it completely after buying the headphones.

I just use it as a cheap surround sound system when I bring friends over for a movie party.

Giveaways are probably the only way I would get my hands on Bose products. The sound quality does not justify the price at all; you're basically just paying for their advertising budget.

They're great headphones if you get them for free, though. I haven't yet found an easy way to get Sennheisers for free.

Oh yeah, I have a pair of Sennheiser HD212Pros, but only one side works, which is fine because I only use it with my turntables. The sound system on those is some old Sony model.

My computer has nothing special, just some 40 buck Altec Lansing kit that came with 2 speakers and a barely-alive sub. My tv has an older model Bose Acoustimass Dual subwoofer that literally shakes my house (and drives my roommate crazy) when you turn up the bass. I also got it free from a relative who had nowhere to keep it any longer, so it's good.

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Yea.. there like 300$ I would never actually pay that. They really only appeal to the buisness man who doesn't feel like hearing other people on a plane ride..

I'm @ school right now, with only my headphones about. I only use headphones now anyways. :(
My main pairs for music and gaming, respectively...

AKG K240
Sony HDR-X200

I'll second the bose comments here. The saying in audio is - "No highs? No lows? It must be Bose!"

The isolation can be kind of neat, but they don't hold a candle to etymotics, which I also use for music.
