Fellas,
Last weekend my gf made me realize that I haven't updated my ipod since being in Europe 2 years ago. At that time I loaded it up with sweet electronica to blast while driving 150mph all over western Germany. Those were goodtimes..

Anyways, I need some new stuff. As this forum has proven, you guys seriously have AWESOME taste in music and have even turned me onto some new groups. That said, I need some new shiz to download and will consider any suggestions. Mind you I listen to electronica more than anything and am basically looking for good driving music.

In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. In an age of Insanity look to the madman to lead the way.

My taste is more into Metal. As a guitarist, and bassist, I find it important to have good guitars over vocals, i dont pay attention to vocals.

Opeth's albums are normally pretty long, 10 minute songs. Every CD has a different mood and style.

Arsis is very good death metal. "We are the Nightmare" is just plain brutal. Its like they all have ADD, music just goes in such different directions while staying at a million miles per hour.

And thats my driving music. METAL.

electronica = an imaginary genre.

Anyway, I use Pandora to find all of my new music, really. I can suggest some shit you probably haven't heard of though.

Name some of your favorite producers and I'll match you up with some good stuff.

Ohh, electronica, how about Richie Hawton, but since you go to Europe alot, you may already know who he is.

Dont mean to butt in, but is Pandora a bittorrent downloader? or is it like Soulseek?

A quick google search could have cleared that up for you. It's a free music service that plays songs based on what you like.

Pandora is very cool.

Led Zeppelin: Good for anything.

You can put Physical Graffiti, which has Kashmir, on it. Kashmir was inspired by Zep driving around in North Africa. It's a good "driving song" I guess.

Me and my Cousin always listen to Convoy when we drive to Montana to go hunting.

Other than that I just listen to the same shit I listen to any other time.

Congratulations on ignoring Muffman's stated preference.

Fast driving...
labels to look at: Tidy Trax, Synapse, (mu)sic, Breakbeat Kaos, Kahvi Collective
artists: Pendulum, Champion Burns, Aphrodite, Roni Style, etc.

A solid source is the Tidy Weekender collections (TW15 coming on oct 3, and i'm a sad panda that can't go).

Its not electo music but it fits the theme o so well. Im just dissapointed that its so short.

Heres Paul Oakenfold

Amazingly a song from the 70's sounds badass to this day, from GT 1 back in the PS1 Days, Ash - Lose Control

Lastly my last contribution for today is Alec Empire's "The Ride"

What the hell, heres my hero Overseer with Supermoves

Same arist, Stompbox

And finally the song that started my taste for the genre, nearly impossible to find the CD from which the song came from, "Hit the Tarmac". Song is "Never Trust an Old Punk", Enjoy. http://boomp3.com/listen/bybe766qq_a

For finding new music, Pandora's a solid place to turn.

www.pandora.com

go go go.

I based a station around Pendulum and I've been pretty freakin' happy.

A propellerheads station works too.
