Wait, how does she not know what the VP does? It sounded like she gave a pretty good answer that's comprehensible to a 2nd grader or whatever grade the kid was in.

Can I go, now? are you being serious or trying to troll? you really think being "president of the senate" is what she is describing? it's a fucking ceremonial role, the only meaningful thing the VP does in the senate is cast tie-breaker votes and those are pretty fucking rare, even now with a virtually tied senate. I think the most any VP has ever cast was like 30 or so and that was a long ass time ago (I can't remember who it was but I think it was early 1800s). I think cheney has broken ties less than 10 times in 8 years, I don't think gore broke any ties ever in his 8 years as VP and I don't think quayle broke any either. Besides that the VP has jack shit to do with the senate and does nothing at all like what she describes. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

I'm not going to claim to be an authority all of the workings of the state but from what I've been told by my american gov teacher, the vice president does have clout in the senate. What she described was vague anyways.

Matriarch Benezia = Hillary Clinton Saren = Obama Asari matriarchs = radical feminists Sovereign = The Media I found this while playing Mass Effect last night. The analogy really kinda breaks down after 1:30 in. Sorry, sci-fi fiction can only be adapted so far. HolyJaw wrote:In the end, everything Endyss said.

He was a great teacher actually, I just spaced out a lot in class.

First, lets stop frothing at the mouth with hate towards Sarah Palin and look at this like rational people. To make a suggestion that Sarah Palin, or any VP candidate, doesn't know what the VP does is weaksauce. Now lets consider her answer. It was the last question in an interview on some shitty TV station. Typically the last question asked in an interview with a politician is an easy BS question to end the interview on a good note. Plus when you consider she was talking to the second grader who asked the question, you got nothing. So seriously, stop pushing something that isn't there. There are much more important things to ask like.. get your ass to mars

I saw this live on TV yesterday and had one of those "did he just say that?" moments. What he's referring to is the recent news that a Pennsylvania congressman said: "There is no question that western Pennsylvania is a racist area." Naturally everyone cried foul and the event has been used as a talking point to pander to W. PA voters. The funny thing is, he's right. I live in Pittsburgh and the majority of this region IS racist. This area is mostly populated by older white people who don't take too kindly to coloreds. Obama will still win PA, but the issue of racism is worth about 4-5 percentage points. get your ass to mars

this confirms my theory that Palin is in fact secretly an evil librul who has infiltrated the heart of the GOP. she's signaling. (or, she really is THAT much of a total fucking idiot) Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.
