Yeah, buy one just for the multiplayer....I am not giving them 150$.....fucking bullshit.  Show some love to the people who gave Blizzard enough money to buy A small country.

Ive always enjoyed playing through the entire campaign of any RTS game. Be it from the Warcraft, starcraft, C&C, or age of empires family, it's a nice addition to the killing frenzy of multiplayer death matches and random map games.

That being said, I'll suck a cock on the goden gate bridge before I pay 3 times for whatis essentially 1 game. Bittorrent, here I come.

Fuck that. It's Starcraft 2. At this point, I'll pay whatever they want to get it.

I'm all about story campaigns in RTS games. I'll be shelling out. It's three full games. Each game the size of the original Starcraft in terms of missions.

I don't know what the big deal is.

Paying full price for 30 missions as the same damn race seems a little annoying.

well this is from my standpoint

the big deal is that their excuse for splitting up the game is that there's "too much content" which to me translates, "We got so much stuff in SC2 that instead of giving it to you in one game, we're gonna split it into 3 smaller but still sizeable games to maximize profits"

Each expansion adds new content to multiplayer so yeah, you basically are gonna have to shell out.

I dont think its that big of a deal.  Though I'm hoping that they don't make the Terran missions "grindey".   I saw that you have to take missions to get Paid so you can buy more "shit".  That sounds like they are trying to inject some WoW flavor of " Do X many missions so you can afford to buy a battlecruiser to go back to mar sara"  God help us all.

On the bright side, now the game should come out sooner....Campaign design for the 3 races was teh last step to release besides the multiplayer tweaking and art updating.  They probably realized that if they have to wait until the stories are done, that the would appear somewhat obsolete behind DoW2 and other RTS in development.

It may be the most profitable thing to do, but still wdf.

Its not like it wouldn't sell millions of copies anyway...fuck....

Make it one 80$ game if you absolutly had too, or maybe just a multiplayer pack.

except dawn of war has 9 races thus far and only released 4 games, 10 races if they had implemented tyranids first time around and there's still more factions they havent even begun to delve in like the inquisition or the adeptus mechanicum, and to be fair, the last 2 were stand alones, and each expansion actually expanded the game

DoW: Space marine campaign, 4 races in mp

Winter Assault: Imperial Guard introduced, 2 campaigns with 2 endings for both sides, each existing race given a new unit

Dark Crusade: Tau and Necrons introduced, wargear is implemented, meta-map campaign, with an ending for each race, standalone for sp, tau and necrons available mp, each existing race given a new unit

Soulstorm: Sisters of battle introduced, expanded meta map campaign with multiple planets, each faction given race specific resource to be used on special abilities, air units implemented although it wasnt that much different
