Well, up until summer of 06, when this version of the site was created.
I'd have to give my vote to the most epic leave I've seen: reaper. Reaper left pDs because no one was sad that he was leaving when he pretended he was. You can see the thread here:

Although Brad Burns is a no brainer, I do find Cantrip's stories quite entertaining.... being either about rats in his house, to shooting birds with a B.B. to going on walks strangly enough with his camera taking pictures of anything dead along the way. I guess a lot of people thought the brad burns thing was funny, I mainly thought it was just creepy and depressing. But yeah, it was definitely the most epic.
