The new and improved registration process should be online now. The main screen for it is "final", though the modal pop-up prior and the activation screen have some visual work still needed.

Hmm, logged in via steam and everything went ok, but I was back at the login options screen. So I figured I'd try creating an account via registering, submitted everything and now waiting on the confirmation email, but so far haven't gotten one.

You wouldn't have had a GamerSyndicate.com account linked to a Steam account in order to log in through Steam. You should have gotten an "Incorrect login" message before being sent back to the login options screen, though... ahhhh_crap wrote: So I figured I'd try creating an account via registering, submitted everything and now waiting on the confirmation email, but so far haven't gotten one. I see your new account pending. Did you check your spam folder? I'll try sending you an email from @gamersyndicate.com, too, to see if that goes through. The site sends email fine to my gmail account when testing so there's no universal block, but I do seem to recall hotmail having some extra analness about where it accepts emails from. P.S. Hrm. Server error: '554 5.7.1 <######@hotmail.com>: Recipient address rejected: Access denied'. So it does look like some kind of hotmail analness. I'll try to figure out what's going on...

that account I used has been hacked in the past, I had to reset my steam ID (connected to it) and explain to relatives that I was not actually wanting them to buy viagra or whatever SPAM got sent through it. Could just be a rejection issue from that- when I get a few moments I'll set up a new dummy hotmail account and try again, make sure it's maybe bouncing because of normal security measures. I will also check my spam folder as soon as I figure out where the fk it is on hotmail.

I sent you "test" emails from two different domains. @gamersyndicate.com seems to be failing immediately, the other is maybe working? I didn't get a error response, anyway. And given that both domains operate off the same server, I'm thinking it's something specific to @gamersyndicate.com Hotmail doesn't like. I've had spam problems from that domain before so maybe it's blocked. Will investigate. Edit: Turns out that error I was seeing before was just between my client and mail server; not with hotmail. I've since sent you another one from rikaelus@gamersyndicate.com that went through as far as I can tell. I also did some stuff that's suppose to help places like hotmail "trust" servers like mine when it comes to email, so maybe that'll make a difference.

without going to my spam folder (will go there next) I received emails: Test 2, Test 2b, and Test 1E
Now off to find the spam folder...
Oooh, it's called junk. And yea, apparently it's totally empty.

Oooh, it's called junk. And yea, apparently it's totally empty. Test 1E getting through should be a good sign. I think that one should have been from my @gamersyndicate.com email address, which emails from the site should be coming from, too. Can you try to have it resend your activation email? (Edit: Oh. Here: http://www.gamersyndicate.com/account/ - just realized I need to add a link to that on the new popups...) I think I'll go make a hotmail account and see if I have similar issues... Edit: I was able to register fine, putting my @hotmail.com account as the email address. The activation email went through, though it did end up in the Junk folder.

I first tried to login, gave me a taken name error (good thing I believe)
filled out the resend account activation and your site functioned smoothly but no email anywhere. But again, I think it's a bad email address. can you wipe that account and let me start over with a fresh email address? I think I just used a bad choice of emails to site test from
