the map definetly plays better in hl2ctf then it does in hl2dm.  don't think i'm starting a rebellion or anything, just the first person to come here and say something that everybody was already saying on the server.

As far as weapon placement and the graves that strip weapons...

When I port a map that I did not author I try to keep to the original plan as much as possible. The ctf weapons were replaced with the dm version of them, however you are correct I did not add any extra weapon spawns. As far as the gun robbing graves are concerned... I think this a cool part of the map. I mean it is a graveyard and its name is spooky, you have the thunder, lighting etc. so it flows with the map. Yes I agree it is different, but isnt that a good thing once in a while ? I could add more weapons and remove the weapon strips , but then the map becomes average, just another ctf with a killbox in the center. I personally thought it would be in the rotation for the month of October, Halloween and all, because it is a unique map to that occasion and then make it votable. Whatever you guys decide is fine with me.

Agreed.  Spooky's concept is cool and all, but it gets old and the layout kills it.  Between that and starting with no weapons...having to run around to get something...

Now if the layout had been in a haunted house like Bedroom warfare or something then prob be pretty cool...but its lacks in action and desire...nice work on the map but layout needs to be reconsidered...

i vote to remove it, WAY too much spawn camping on that map, it's basically the team who can spawn camp first wins, not to mention there is A LOT of orb camping ppl generally stay where the orbs are and just fire away through the tunnel deals
In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. In an age of Insanity look to the madman to lead the way.
