Nothing is worse than going for a rushed melee attack and opening up your console. You can get programs to disable the windows key, gooble it!

you want to see a damn hot keyboard.  you should see the one that came with my dell a few years back.  its this dull color with all the keys perfectly lined up in a square.  its like something you get out of the $1 bin at the surplus store.  and best of all...it works. 

whats the point of a backlit keyboard.  you don't look at the keyboard when you play, or even type for that matter.  if i loose my keys, then all i have to do is look down for a sec, and there is enough light from the screen to light up the keyboard.  Not to mention the light in the room.  anyway, the difference between a $60 gaming keyboard and a $1 keyboard won't change you game (or at least it shouldn't).  the reason i say this is because i was recently at one of the computer surplus store and there were all sorts of keyboards with all sorts of layouts for hella cheap, almost free.  so you would only buy a $60 keyboard to feel cool.  i say just use a standard keyboard and practice.  its just like typing, its slow at first, then once you get used to it you can do it super fast without mistakes.

I'm all about oldschool keyboards - I have one of the old metal IBM keyboards from 286 days that I've been restoring (it was my first one ever so I'm nostalgic and don't want to buy a new one), it still needs another alcohol wash and then an adapter so it'll plug into USB and I'm switching to it. You kids with your fancy backlit split-ergo shit with programmable buttons. That's just not right. Um, I do have an MX1000 mouse though, that thing has something like 8 buttons on it! I wish I could use them all in HL2DM...

The Windows key is stupidest most fucked up idiotic thing that Microsoft has ever done. Over the past 10+ years I've been playing multiplayer FPSes I have died thousands of times because of it. Fuck disabling - rip it off your keyboard!
