Personally I don't think we should have it as per the same reason that the medic will be getting updates sometime this month. Medic roles are gonna be pretty damn populer so adding to the medic inventory kinda out-weights other classes in abilities. I 2nd this idea. shignog has spoken. Infectious diseases weren't the only cool thing about Medics in TFC. Medics in TFC could bounce/jump off grenades/rockets similar to Soldier and Demoman in TF2. They also had grenades that would mess up the aim of the enemy player. I haven't played TFC in ages (like High School) so maybe I recall these things being more awesome than they actually were... but I still consider Medics as they were in TFC to be a much stronger force than they are presently in TF2. I don't think that the new bonesaw and other weapons will make them too "overpowered" at all personally, but I guess we won't know for sure until we see them in-game.

Medics in TFC where the "scouts" of TF2 doing most of the flag snatching and capping with 2 man teams. Nothing like conc double jumping across to the othe battlements to infect a few snipers and pwn the rest with the nail gun.

Ok, I don't usually do dis.. but I'ma change my vote from allow infection to NOT... during the 'achievement' party last nite, I got to see how powerful the medics have become... and I'm not sure they need the infection to kick booty.... AND when I played on a server for a bit after the updates, lots of folks were medics, but not interested in anything but gaining the achievements.. I guess it will be like that for a while... anyhow... NO on the med infection thingy...
