I like the story....I also like the story about McCain. In general its all the same bullshit. I think electing Obama's a bad choice considering his naivette and pop-cultural prominence. I think ellecting Hillary would have sucked for the country based on her idealogy. I think electing McCain sucks based on his old-fart-politician cred. I've never seen a slippier player in the game excpet for perhaps the texts on Nixon. As usual the candidates all suck from a popularist point of view so all the humdingers go back to attacking each others candidate instead of propping up their own. Much easier to sling mud than chisel the statue in the first place.

 My opinion is that we're all fucked if we keep buying into the large government theory. And as much as I wish it, I doubt republicans will ever return to their root values, at least as long as their base is part of the bible-belt. I'm all for the vaunted third party, but unlike the simpletons in the green party I'd vote for something like a Jeffersonian party. Small government, low taxes, large strong economy, and a law that was enshrined fundamentally in the constitution and bill of rights. No religion of any form in state or federal hands. Yes, this includes the money, congressional chaplins, the whole shit and shebang. Second up, the right of the public to always have the empowerment to resist the armed government. This is non-exclusive, arms simply means arms.
