But still, I absolutely love the Soul Calibur games. I used to play tournaments during lunch in my economics class because that's how we roll in dirty poor-ass Mexican towns. Oh, and I *bought* Soul Calibur Legends. Yeah, didn't look at reviews or anything, just fucking assumed it would be a good game. What a load of fucking shit. I felt AVGN syndome coming on. Shit pissed me off. I don't have a 360 or a PS3 so I won't be able to play SC4, but it doesn't look bad. Also, I have a copy of SC3 for PS2 I bought and never opened - mostly due to never having a PS2. Woo. silverwasp wrote:Be careful what you wish for... I have 10 younger siblings and I am only 20....

Giller, I can't believe you and our friends are like 90% of the reason I've played Soul Calibur over the years and the only thing you can think up to post on a top about SC4 is a comment on my relative scrubbiness! Btw, I ended up getting the PS3 version because I have serious objections to paying Microsoft extra money for something that is otherwise free on Sony's increasingly competitive console. Get it or don't get it, for whichever system you like, but if you want to play online with me, getcherself a Big Black Sony Machine. HolyJaw wrote:In the end, everything Endyss said.

Booo to you PS3 people. Got it on 360
I like it...I think my favorite is still Soul Calibur II but IV makes up for the shit that was III. Very polished looking and same fun it always has been. I've already unlocked a good portion of the stuff and have been spending much time in the training area relearning Siegfried/Nightmares moves, not sure why they have to rearrange the move lists but <shrug>
I'll be bringing it to the LAN on Aug 9 btw (for us OKC guys)

Siegfried is only cheap in Davids hands which unfortunately they gave him back the "huh-huh-huuuhh" move....I dislike how they split Siegfried/Nightmare into 2 characters since SC II...took some of his best moves and gave them to Nightmare but didn't give Nightmare the different stances...oh well
Unrelated note but I still have never seen another Nightmare resin statue like the one I have. Bought it from anime castle and never saw another one ever...lol. Yay for me. Sad that I don't have a spot to put him up anymore, he waits patiently in his box!

I may pick it up for PS3 owing to the fact that the 360's Dpad is a piece of flaming shit. Honestly though I didnt really dig 3 that much and I may just wait for Street Fighter. Fuck everyone forgets about Street Fighter. Without Street Fighter modern fighting games wouldnt even exist in the form they do today. Regardless If IV is more like 2 than 3 I will probably pick it up and the Star Wars gimmick is awesome. I'm the leetest one here

Lol...no doubt. I can usually tell if its a good match against Daniel if he starts bitching and complaining about cheap moves.
And Dark...who the hell uses the Dpad?! Analog stick is for people who like awesome
