Yeah, you don't want to be a medic. The only reason I play medic a lot these days is because I generally don't count on people to be any good at it. I try to get the job done myself, rather. If you're a bad medic you'll make a lot of players angry anyway.

Oh God, this is exactly the reason why I duke things out as a Demoman without a Medic, or go Medic, myself. 5 fail ubers in a row, Muff? Really?

See muff = fail , If you wish to improve at this game avoid his advice at all costs

Guys dont be so harsh on medics, Medic can be REALLY easy to play and learn for beginners if you do it right , more effective then other classes

IF you really wish to help a team medic is the class but play super defensive, Meaning dont rush out there . Stay back from the action , buff everyone you see that needs it and build an uber to use on a good player or to save your own ass

If you want i can give you some tips in game , I play pocket medic to drakhen and bendy at times and know some pointers ..Could also point you out to pro medics if you wanted

I say we let him back on the forums.

...

This is why I hate playing medic. No one realizes that while they get regeneration and a 150% health boost, the medic is a weak, glowing, opportunistic target. I never ever say it, but in my head, if I die, I secretly blame the person I'm healing. Its their job to protect me, and my job to heal them.

I'll never heal you again, 12. Thats what you want.

Having a medic does have a lot of effectiveness, but I wouldn't say it's at all easy. If it's easy, it's because you're pocketing a top fragger on a team of 15 players in a pub server. It's really a whole other ball game otherwise. Healing isn't a hard thing to do, but healing is a extremely tiny portion of being a good medic which I think Frostbite means is easy in the sense that new players can heal and still contribute something.

It's pretty damn fun though. I used to compete as demo, then medic way back in the day and I kind of miss that real challenge aspect of being a medic in leagues. Doing an awesome push as a medic with your team and it working is like cheddar on the triscuit.
{pDs} Lead Salad: bike why did you change your name

Adept medics heal.

Good medics survive.

Pro medics push the team to VICTORY!

I may "waste" ubers, but you guys would have to play medic if I didn't. :D

Doesn't everybody.

Oh, and hi Kelsey. I am less new than those other guys, namely Muff and Frostbite, and Silverwasp. But I don't believe our paths have crossed before.
