Yeah, she knows exactly who I have been dealing with and seems to understand the situation a hell of a lot better than the idiot I wasted an hour with yesterday when I went in to do the paperwork. Last night I got just under 45mpg during an hour long drive, this morning I got close to the same but don't remember the exact number now. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

virus wrote:They let you take possession of the car without documented financing? That's a new one. I'd check with the dealer to see if they can help with another finance deal. At least you could use that to twist your credit unions arm on the issue. That's the thing, I had documented financing. Everything was good, I just had to bring them the purchase order. They are basically trying to say they fucked up and thus don't have to honor it unless I can travel to the future and bring back my 2009 tax return. Although now that doesn't matter as long as I can come up with a few hundred more in cash. I don't get paid until next week and everyone I know is too poor to pay back the money they owe me. My victory is total. They are honoring the original agreement to cover the full cost, along with $50 in cash and no payments for the first 90 days. I went from needing to come up with $1500 for them to getting $50 from them. 100% awesome. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

I'm not saying that I endorse extortion, I'm just saying I know I guy that can grease some wheels, and break a few knees, to get you the money that people owe you.

You are getting 50 bucks on top of the loan? Were you going to roll your victory dinner into the financing or something? Quote:

They are going to give me $50 when I go to sign the paperwork. Obviously they are getting it right back in my first loan payment but it's a nice gesture regardless. So I went. I was there 5 minutes. Literally. Half of that was the branch manager apologizing and thanking me for showing them the error of their ways. She gave me her card and told me to get in touch if I ever ran into any other issues. I left happy. I think I'm gonna try to switch all of my accounts over, I'm used to Wells Fargo robotic redneck call center fuck offs. Having the local big boss come out and get personally involved is about as opposite of that as you can get. EDIT: Forgot to mention, they also took 2% off the interest. Remember to get the right color sticker on the car when its time comes around. We don't want to hear you bitching about getting pulled over for "no reason"
Grats on getting the car btw
