I was wondering since so many PDS have minecraft maybe we can see if a server can run on someones box , Its not like TF2 where it costs money no? I can think of some fun times in team speak with all of us playing together , Creating ,building or playing maps like minecraft planets (which is so lulz and fun in mutiplayer) Just think we can go around and destroy all of muffs lewd furry/bodypart related looking buildings We would need some rules , Like no nicking stuff or actively destroying people's stuff? unless we play castle wars..then its ok No teaming up on me too.. it doesn't change the fact that most people think Jews are much like the Ferengi of Star Trek. Hrm. Without knowing requirements I'm not sure if my server could handle it or not, since it's also doing 2 L4D2 and mostly-idle TF2 servers. But.. I can give it a try if someone can point me to.. how.. the minecraft website is less than useful.

Hmm the requirements are pretty low ..i mean you dont even need a video card to run this game lol to run a server i think ..not sure you need to buy the game but i am not 100% sure Maybe we could each pitch in like 2 bucks and get it ...i would if we REALLY had a 24/7 server that or just pirate the server software....that might work better and we are not doing any harm because we already own it ..just the server guy hehe it doesn't change the fact that most people think Jews are much like the Ferengi of Star Trek. I have one up and am looking at hosting concepts for it. I'm honestly not sure how well it will play... it seems to be VERY memory intensive, which really isn't a surprise. Just sitting idle it's taking 1.2GB of memory. I'm not sure how that scales with active players yet. Hopefully that's the entire world already loaded, so it wouldn't go much higher.

Fair warning guys watch out lava is heavy glitched it seems ..lol i tried putting a lava cap on my tower and it seems to of leaked or broke out of my glass shield and then down my tower Also it wont ever go away if you stop the flow so now i got a giant ass lava fall and cant put it out ...tried water it stops right above it lol... So i will need to drop a shit ton of gravel and sand to replace the lava blocks . fun times! it doesn't change the fact that most people think Jews are much like the Ferengi of Star Trek. so i guess the plan right now is just a basic minecraft server. talk to Rikaelus to get the server IP. hopefully at some point in the future we'll have established rules, open it up to more people, start posting map renders etc. come get in and make yourself a base! *edit* i've made a small house near the spawn where people can find basic necessities and shelter. if anyone wants to add to the stock there, please do so by all means. also this is one of those "for the good of the community" things, so please dont walk in, take everything, and leave the next person with nothing to help them out. also this is one of those "for the good of the community" things, so please dont walk in, take everything, and leave the next person with nothing to help them out. There's also a somewhat hidden tunnel entrance near spawn, along the side of the hill you spawn at, hidden under a tree. Down there is a community-use workbench and furnace to help get you started. And, of course, usable as shelter.
