Still working on Deus Ex: Human Revolution and New Vegas DLC...Also got sidetracked by Minecraft being ACTUALLY released now...Oh, and I played the Portal 2 DLC last night, which was quite fun (and humorous)! Skyrim is on my list for sure though. I've played BF3 on Xbox (my friend has it) and it's pretty good, it takes forever to walk across the maps though and I get raped by everyone I play against. I like TF2 better lol. Oh...and I've been playing a lot of League of Legends because my friend got me (back) into it. I'm not very good though...that's my current video game life.

The last shot of Rikaelus, before moving on to my new character.
Full Legendary Dragonscale Armor... and the ladies of Proudspire Manor.

P.S. Yes, that armor looks like ass. If I go back to play him anymore I'll probably stick it on a mannequin and go ebony or something.

So how about that BF3? Thats what I've been playing instead of Skyrim.

I have been looking forward to picking Skyrim up on sale though, looks like it would be a lot of fun! I just have too many good games to play currently. Payday: The Heist, BF3, SR3, RAGE, Fallout: NV, and the perfect fallback plan: TF2.

Word up.

Every time I play skyrim I wind up bored or frustrated and switch to BF3 or Rift (or even TF2). It seems like it should be awesome but I just haven't been in the right mindset for it. I enjoyed the new Deus Ex more and that game annoys the shit out of me 90% of the time I've played it.

So that explains why skyrim was running quite sluggish the past few days.

Bethesda is apparently still run by incompetent assholes who think QA is a waste of money.

The patch was released by Valve, not Bethesda.

And I haven't noticed any problems... in fact the only thing I've noticed is that my remapped directional keys work correctly when viewing maps. 'course, by now I got use to switching back to WASD.. meh.

They can only release it, Bethesda is the one who made the patch so the faults on them not Valve.

Ah, yeah. The first article I read about it left me with the impression that the patch was only for the Steam version, largely due to Steam-centric DRM changes in the .exe file. Reading about it in some other places, obviously it was for all versions.

PC version is always gonna be first getting the patches since the ps3 and xbox versions have to be approved which normally takes longer time.

So in a sense I feel like the PC is nothing more then a guinea pig for sony and microsoft (xbox durr). I just hope that they fix quest problems soon cause I got a quest that I can't finish permanently. "The last fragment of wuuthrand" or something along those lines.

Hmm. What's the problem with it? I've completed that twice, including just yesterday...

The thing broken for me right now is that I guess chests don't spawn when you get those Treasure Maps. =/
Doubt a bug fix for that would even spawn chests for the maps I've already gotten.

The problem I got is with having to reforge wuuthrad. My last 2 companion quests got tangled and somehow they fucked up. The 2nd last companion quest you get is to find the final fragment of wuuthrad to have it reforged. The last quest your supposed to go to ysgramors crypt. While I was getting the quest to find the final fragment, the gray mane guy comes running into the room saying that he's finished reforging the axe and gives it to me but I never found the last fragment yet. So now I have the completed axe plus I have the final fragment that I'm supposed to bring to Aila or something.

But everytime I talk to her my only option I get from her is some minor quest or have her follow me, there's nothing in the chat options that lets me give her the final fragment.

There you can see I have the quest for the final fragment yet I have the axe completed already so wtf?

p.s. I'm now running some sick legendary daedric armor that for some reason is still much much better then dragon armor. So saving up all those bones and scales is pretty much useless since daedric is much stronger.

Hmm. Technically that's not even the last fragment you have there. The last one you get from Kodlak's room at Eorlund Gray-Mane's request, so it sounds like you semi-jumped ahead a couple steps.

In fact... the scene where he gives you the axe is suppose to be part of a larger scripted scene. Very odd he even has dialogue to give it to you some other way...

Anyway... you might be able to kick it into gear via console commands.

GetStage <quest id> - Used to get the current quest stage for given quest ID (use command ShowQuestTargets for IDs).
player.sqs <quest id> - Used to display all the stages of a quest
SetStage <quest id> <stage value> - Used to set the quest stage (Useful for bugged quests) use command ShowQuestTargets for quest IDs and player.sqs to show how many stages are there (note that you have set the stage one at a time in order to get its effect.)

Yeah, I read that one isn't definitely better than the other. It's something like the base armor value of Dragonbone is better, but upgraded Daedric is better than upgraded Dragonbone. The theory is they did this to counter the fact that Dragonbone is so easy to find just through random dragon encounters. Heck, you can get Dragonbone from effectively the beginning of the game, whereas you need to be pretty high level before you even start setting Daedric.

I wish material and design were separate components when crafting things, yourself. I like the look of Ebony more than Daedric, and a lot more than Dragonbone. Some Ebony/Leather designs could look pretty awesome, too, though I have no idea if you'd categorize that as light or heavy...
