Whut..
I strongly support this one. This guy is an Excelllant CTF player. Great attitude and is always known to take one for the team. He has helped bring alot of fun and exciting time to the Tomb the last couple of nights. He would really be a great help in our transistion to CTF fulltime. Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

Yes!! Got tired of being a radical rose? lol. Great to see you come into the forums. This guy is nuts, he's a great CTF player and one I know will make a great addition to our team. Welcome to the boards. Grumpy has said nice things about you. He firmly believes that we should press for an immediate enterence into the clan for you, but as you can imagine that isn't exactly fair to the other recruits.
So, with that, I'll make an exception and shorten your recruit phase. Welcome to the fun.

(not that i have anything against him because iv never met or played with him before) but the fact that as you say in your post that hes a good ctf player and takes 1 for the team etc. to me isnt a good reason to speed up the recruitment phase becasue as wdf says in the code of conduct thread "Fun loving: We are here to have fun, and in-game performance always comes second to this" so all thats left from your post is that he has a good attitude which can be said for most of the other recruits

keep in mind that the point of the recruitment phase is to get to know the current pDs members. its the community as a whole that will vote you in, not just whut or grumpy. speeding up a recruitment phase is just shortening the time you get to actually meet the members here and play with them. if you have regulared the WDF servers for a while then typically your vote starts sooner because people already know you, but that doesn't mean that you are any better of a player. if you vote starts too soon, then not enough players know who you are and then the vote just runs until there are enough votes acumulated. this is the reason that the recruiting phase is ROUGHLY a set time limit and this is the reason why some people can get in faster then others.

yes thats true and im not sure how much hes played the tomb server but as grumpy says "He has helped bring alot of fun and exciting time to the Tomb the last couple of nights" i assume hes only played a few times and looking at his request post hes only made 2 posts on the forums. giving some1 who appears to have spent little time on the {pDs} server and comunity ( now i dont know this to be true its only what iv gatherd from reading grumpys post and his number of posts on the forums) a sped up recruitment phase just seems unfair MakeSureItsCharcoalGrilled wrote: you, sir, are a complete dickhead! thank you for your insightful contribution. please don't ever return. OK guys..
Let me clarify something. I think Habit is a great guy I really do. What I said in a pm to Whut is being taken wrong though. My thoughts to Whut were not in reference to the person or any person for that matter. I think Reaper is great to and I was serious when I said that we should make this more fair for Reap too. Reaper is also alot of fun and I always enjoy having him in a game. Again this has absolutely nothing to do with the people who are applying for this clan.
What I was talking to Whut about was a very big picture kind of thing over a couple of different things regarding the Tomb and this clan. I knew this area was a little iffy and that is why I broached in to a "private message." It was intended to be a thought for he and I and maybe others to throw and and discuss. As Whut said I was in favor of push Habit through and I still stand behind the idea. I never intended or would ever want this to be unfair to others who are going through the same process. I have another pm waiting for Whut that will explore ways to be fair to our other recruits. We are an inclusive clan and one way or another we will get EVERYBODY looked after in this. Do not worry and please trust me. If this can not be done fairly for all I will step away from all of it and we go with the processes we already know.

well after reading this i feel sumewhat like an ass..lol
i understand and agree with you grumpy and i was not questioning decisions made or to be made by you, whut, or any other members of {pDs} i was simply saying what was on my mind and i have nothing against you shortening or skipping habits recruitment phase
i some times subconsiouly question or argue decisions made by authority figures and for this i appoligize and also for ruining habits recruitment thread (lol srry man)
btw ty for your compliment grumpy (Reaper is also alot of fun and I always enjoy having him in a game)
