Reaper, habittathxc, and any other recruit or potential recruit, please let me put this as plainly as I can. For all intents and purposes, once you sport the {pDs} tag at the beginning of your name, you are {pDs}.

The recruit phase isn't a way to punish or exclude anyone from anything, quite the opposite. The recruit phase is mainly a way for existing {pDs} members to get to know you because believe it or not, most don't check the forum. This is also a way for us to measure your maturity level on the forums, threw personal conversations and in the game.

This clan has over 100 members, and only a small portion of them frequent the boards, so its hard for us to know who is who. The one main thing that recruits cant usually do that "full" members can do is participate in ILDM or {pDs} vs. another clan scrims because it is a first post, first play bases. With 50 members looking for a spot to play, we limit to "full" members so that everyone feels like they are working as a team, and the only way to do that is to of played with those people before.

The recruitment phase is also what many jobs have, its something to make sure you fit in with this community. We have had problems with members just not fitting in, which has caused conflict in the past. So we reserve the right to, within 30 days, say "its just not working out" and part ways on good terms.

This method is much easier then "Player X is a jack ass, constantly setting off our defensive slams and TKing, s/he also spams the forums with random, stupid shit that just didn't need posting. I am starting a poll to kick player X out of the clan" then player X comes in "fk you, Your just jealous because I am better then you, your also mad because I have a higher post count then you. KMA and stop being a whinie ass little bitch!"

Incidentally, that has happened before, it wasn't fun.

The recruitment phase is very simple, when we, the members, feel you are ready for a vote, one of us will post a vote. When it has enough responses, you get in. That can be as few as 2 weeks from application to acceptance, to as much as 2 months.

i understand bloodhands and i didnt mean for this er..outburst as i said above i sometimes subconsiously question or argue dicisions which i dont realize until after i have done so and i sincearly appologize for having done so on this thread

Well, the way I look at the recruitment phase is that in addition to getting to know the player, it's how well he holds as a clan, will he participate in scrims with us?  Will he contribute more to us than in game performance?  Will he be active on our boards and add there as well?  These are all things that only time will tell.  Obviously we must be fair for everyone and adhere to the guidelines that are set.  I am more than happy to have habitatx here applying for our clan, but at the same time he must go through what other recruits go through.  A little hypocritical of me to say, seeing as I was simply immediately inducted because I moved in with Whut, but regardless the point still stands.  I know habitat is an awesome guy, no doubt in my mind he will be accepted once the rest of our clan members play with him.  Yet the process is there for a reason.  In a month's time his vote thread will come and yes will win by a landslide.  Hahah, we know it'll happen but who knows what might happen during recruitment phase.
