call me what you want but i rely don't see them in that negative of a light. The next time your country is in an economic depression, on your knees shattered from a war. You can tell me how you would react if someone told you a religion would solve all your problems. lol and i am assuming most of you are self conscious bastards so you would kill the people, just a thought.

I'm going to have to hold to my opinion. Honestly none of it phases me in the least, I understand what kind of monsters lead the fascist party but can you really blame the people of Germany? The majority of the people who made the calls to kill the Jews was rather small, all I'm saying is chances are I would have followed the political movement, and the majority of you would have, Its easy to look back on the mistakes of humanity and freely criticize them when you are sitting in a comfortable chair, in your stable county.

Nazism prevailed due to deep, long ingrained beliefs in many parts of German society. Nazism didn't just prevail because of a few leaders, it was due to the huge levels of support it recieved from parts of the public. The Depression and Versailles treaty were just the trigger. Get that in your head. If these faults in a society cant be recognised, who's to say i wont happen again? Remember that in parts of France and Croatia there was no order givin to round up the Jews. it was done voluntarily. Also, the SS would have recieved much assistance from similar volunteers from the comman public in Germany. How else would they know where to find the Jews in hiding? Well I can see where you are coming from on the other points but i don't think my last opinion was disturbing. For many reasons, I'm not saying that i personally hate Jews, in fact my best Friend is a Jew, nor am i saying that i would like to exterminate the blacks, gays and retards. What i am saying is that i were to have grown up in Germany at this time i would probably have joined the movement, and I'm pretty sure you would have as well. I know you will come up with some response that comes from history books and your experiences throughout life, but look at it this way, you have grown up in a country with a past of antisemitism, you are at a decline economically, and the Nazi party offers you a way out of all of this. I have had this same conversation with Jewish people and they have even agreed with me that if they were not Jewish and lived in Germany at that time they would have joined the movement.

Crass i dunno at this stage what yer point is. really It sounds like you're absolving everybody but the leaders from blame. Yeah, it may be true that under different times and different circumstances some of us may have ended up in the SS or whatnot... but it still doesn't make it any less disturbing. I think that's what makes it more disturbing because you may well be onto something. But it still does not absolve anybody from the actions they take, where as it sounds like you just want to sweep it under the carpet. "Whoopsies, my bad, Ve didn't know any better." Pretty lame excuse. You're always resposible for the actions you take. You always have a choice. Yes there are issues of conditiong, but conditioning doesn't absolve anybody. the action is no less morally evil because of it. A murderer is a murderer. You may see things under a different light, understand his motivations, the roots of his derangement, the external social forces etc... but, at the end of the day, he still killed in cold blood. yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.
