yea, macs are not good for gaming, they only have one model that is and its a desktop. The core 2 duo doesn't necessarily mean it is good with games, and when was the last time you saw a even semi decent video card that was about a CM thick? Also, if you are going for a gaming in a laptop then you can worry about size.
The dell Inspiron is a nice laptop, a friend of mine has one with a 17" screen and it runs well on CSS.
ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 is pretty decent for laptop-based gaming (vid card in MacBooks). Laptops will never be great for gaming, at least not with cutting-edge games. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.

This may be the only time ever that I will agree with Span on anything, but Alienware sucks. I have 2 friends that bought systems, one a laptop the other a desktop, and they both had to send their machines back immediately after receiving them and spending hours upon hours on the phone with tech support. Seems if I was going to spend that insane amount of money on anything I would want it to work when I got it.
