I hear alot of bitching and moaning over this, but what i want to know is when did pds start careing how good everyone was? When i first joined and we would do scrims, if we won we won if we lost we lost, and pDs was not like hax, vdus, or who ever else. Not saying there is anyhting worng with those clans, but those clan really care if they win or lose a scrim last time i checked this was still a game if some one or some other clan wants to say there better than us let them. There are other sever to play on if you dont want a modded on, and a modded server is what people want and expect from the crypt. If you want to improve you mag skill or whatever there are other servers like i said. So leave it modded, and if you want to work on you mag skills do it on the crypt or another server WDF?: I found a hot girl WDF?: Who lets me WDF?: Drink WDF?: Smoke WDF?: And play video games WDF?: ALL DAY shignog: and in the back door? Nemesis is not modded and yet always crowded. People actually wait to get into that server. I see that Hax is not always filled.
Either way I would ask if the ILDM ever happens that the people that are in it from pDs play unmodded a lot more. We were actually starting to win matches with the unmodded people so we have skill that I feel the crypt will hinder.

good for shig.. I like the part about when the hell did we start caring about being good.. This has never really about about skill but about personality. That is what made the server and the clan special. I think as the clan ages and people start to fall away and new people replace them that we are all forgetting about why we are here and why we spend so much time here. That reason is each other. That is just hanging out with friends and having a good time doing a whole lot of nuthing really. Talking trash and shooting the fun and making fun of each others pitiful game playing skills..
SO with that being said lets just go back to being what we are good at and that is just being friends. We dont need to become king of the world at HL2 anyway so lets keep it just the way we have always known it to be and quit trying to be VDUS, HAX, FK and the such. Those clans are pretty much idiots anyway. Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

I've said about a million times it is about fun. What I am talking about with the competitiveness is that I KNOW we have the talent to perform very well in scrims. We just need to prove that we are not just 'another clan'. And about the mag skill as I have said before, you cannot get better at it with these Crypt settings of low gravity!

Keep it as is, please.
1) I'm not a competative hl2dm player. So, if my unmodded skills suffer due to playing on a modded server all the time I don't really give a damn.
2) I play on the crypt to have fun. The crypt, imo, is an improved game over unmodded hl2dm.
3) From my experiences playing on unmodded servers the .357 mag just replaces the xbow as an over used weapon. Besides, I can play on the crypt and be quite successful without the xbow.

The way I see it... it's up to you whether or not you use the bow. The ability to magnum peoples skulls while dodging instanuke xbow shots seems like would make you uber skilled lozzle.

Alright well it looks like we are going modded. I miss the old crow bar and stun stick one hit kill as well. That was intense. Also I just find this above statement funny. I never knew we had someone who could tell the future.
